Samsung - Do they do home-visits to repair TVs?

Theoretically, the repair won't cost you anything if it's covered by the set's warranty. However, warranties generally require you to deliver the set to a repair facility. A home visit would be extra.

Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't have a great reputation for prompt, effective action on a warranty claim. You're better off with the store's separate warranty, which may be an extra expense when you buy the TV but you can count on it better.

The good news: your set most likely has a fairly simple power supply problem that will be easy to diagnose and repair without a huge cost. But you'll save big money by taking it into the shop.

Hi,

My Samsung TV has broken (standby light blinks and screen flickers but won't turn on) and I was wondering if a representative of Samsung would visit my house to repair the set rather than me bring it in.

Thank you!

Your local authorized Samsung repair shop will doo home repairs for a fee. Last time I had a home repair the fee was 50$ for a service call...repairs extra.
