Samsung D807 vs. Nokia 8801

So I can't make the decision between the two. I currently have a RAZR and have grown tired of it, so it's time for a change. While the D807 has expandable memory, a 1.3MP camera, and a great screen, the plastic feel of the phone really turns me off to it. I like the actual design and functionality of the phone (especially when compared to the RAZR), but it doesn't really turn any heads.

Which brings up the 8801. I love the fact that not many people will have this phone (which I fear is the fate of the D807), but aside from its exclusivity and quality, it doesn't seem to have any features that my RAZR doesn't have. So...why spend $500 on a phone that shares a feature list that rivals the RAZR I already have? I hope that this phone doesn't become a big "fad" phone either.

The price isn't what bothers me so much. It's more about performance. After all, what good is a phone that can play mp3s, take pics, etc. when it can't even make a proper call/hear the people you are talking to/battery life is poor.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

honestly if your willing to spend dont get either, there plenty of better phones... but if you had to choose between the two id get the d807 in your case

thanks for the quick reply! what phones would you recommend then?

I would really only jump on the 8801 for the right price (e.g. $400). The exclusivity of the phone is HUGE. A big reason why I want to dump my RAZR is because everyone seems to have one nowadays (oh, and it's horrible).
I love the design and I've heard good things about phone performance.

I've read that the performance of the D807 is lackluster in terms of call quality and the things that really matter...battery life...blah blah, BUT it shines in the "luxury" side of what phones can do (e.g. camera, video, etc.).
