Samsung Corby Plus isn't vibrating very strong?

I just recently purchased a Samsung Corby Plus. I set both the ringtone and incoming calling to vibrate. It is on 5, (the strongest vibrate setting) but is still very weak. If it is in my pocket, I don't feel a thing. Having it on my lap doesn't do much justice either, as I have to actually be holding it in my hand to actually notice the slight bit of vibration. I want to get this fixed because even though I've only had this phone for two days, I've missed many important phone calls due to the lack of vibration. Can someone please help?
 
maybe there is a mistake at the factory for all of the samsung corby plus, just go to your wireless cell provider and tell them about this
