So I'm currently on Wind and it's **** and I hate it. I can get on my company's employee discount cell plan which amounts to essentially the same plan/price as what I have on Wind.
However, it also means I'd have to ditch my Nexus One. The only decent options for phones from Rogers is the Samsung Captivate. At the same time, there are rumours around that the Nexus S is coming out pretty soon and will be a dual core on top of that.
Given how few good Android phones end up working in Canada, do you think it's worth it to wait for the Nexus S/dual core phones or should I just jump in, get the captivate now and then upgrade to a dual core a few years from now?
90% of the android phones in canada are horrible (Xperia X10, Dell Streak, Acer Liquid, etc come to mind.) Really, the only ones that are worth their salt are the captivate, nexus one, and desire (which is basically a nexus one).
If our mobile network wasn't so specific, I'd just go get a desire HD or Evo. Which is why I ask this question now seeing as how there is no guarantee Canada will even get any of the next generation of dual core phones anytime soon.
Does anybody know what phones are coming down the pipe from the big 3? If it's nothing promising, I'll just get a captivate and be done with it.
