samsung bluray player plays movies really bad?

i just bought a new samsung bluray player, p3600, and when i play normal movies, it feels like its only doing like 15 frames per second and the movie is 29.9 fps....

is there a setting i can change? or is it the tv? the tv is a new 52" samsung 1080P.....
 
Samsung to Samsung. They have a sync set up in your manual

If that doesn't fix it, in the blu ray menu, there's a choice you can make on the frame rate.
