Samsung Blu-ray model BD-C5500 shows everything in pink/red color.?

I just bought Samsung Blu-Ray player model BD-C5500 after a week of working just fine, now every time I turn it on and no matter what I'm watching the screen is pink/red. I went to the store and exchanged it for a new one. Now the same thing happened. Anyone have the same problem?? Anyone know if there was a re-call on the product?? I just don't know what to do or why it keeps happening. Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated.
 
sounds like the cable might be damaged or the plug is damaged you might want to borrow a friends dvd player and see if you having the same problem and if your not then it might just the cables not the player it self so try that out and then see if new cable would help
