Samsung Blackjack?

I recently won a auction on ebay for a Blackjack that was 340 shipped. After buying it, i thought wow, with 340 theres alot of phones i can buy. So i posted it here lol. I need some help on deciding if i should go through and buy the blackjack. I mean is it worth it? I need a phone with good texting abilities. Its not REALLY REALLY important, but its important. Must have a camera also. I mean the k790-k800 is attractive but im still attracted to the blackjack. Any advice?
 
$340 seems a bit high. I think you can get one for about $200 with a 2 yr contract on Cingular. But if all you are going to do is text messages and camera, then you don't really need a Blackjack. Also, the data plan for the BJ is about $30 a month.
 
i mean. i cant sign a contract. I just renewed it like 3 months ago lol. I mean texting, internet, etc. And i text ALOT. I need a device that keeps up with my speed. I could work with t9 but the keyboard is more perferable.
 
The blackjack has a slow processor and there's been lots of reports of it missing characters if you type fast. So its probably not the best phone for you if you're a fast texter/typer. Or maybe it is. Idk. Sidekick 3 sounds like your best bet, but I see you already have one so it must not be working.
 
i have had the blackjack for a week now and i text and use aim on it everyday without any problems. the processor is NOT slow. it will be slow if you have 258 programs open. bottom line, phone reception excellent, i check my emails simply, i have aim chats simply, i have mms/sms simply. ohhh and the camera is great for a phone. carry around a powershot if u want a real camera. i bought the treo 680 first and brought it back after a week. im glad i got this over the treo. go for it, if you dont like it sell again on ebay.
