I am in the market for a new phone and I, like a lot of other people, hate contracts. Not only that, can't afford a contract. So I am currently considering the Android 2.2 that is available through Straight Talk. I heard that Straight Talk is now carried by Sprint instead of Verizon. I do not know if this is true but either way, neither one of these carries provide adequate service where I live. I currently have Verizon and I get one bar in very inconvenient spots. Such as under the pool table or in my shower. And yes I have tried these places. So back to my actual question, does this phone work? Will it at least get the same coverage as my current phone? More so, when I move into town, my biggest worry is that it is going to behave like my grandmothers Straight Talk phone. It's going to drop calls. I'm not going to hear who I am talking to. They will not be able to hear me. And my browser is going to shut down, and my phone is going to shut off even though the data is unlimited. Will these things happen? Please help?
