Sample H.I.I.T. workout?

I heard that a H.I.I.T workout, though its more intense, takes very little time and promotes weight loss better than the standard steady state cardio workout.
I have a treadmill, and an exercise bike at home. Though I am very busy looking after my preschool son and running my own home buisness during the day (I have a 'regular' night job) I think I can spare 20 or 30 minutes. Can you give me a sample H.I.I.T. workout?
