i bought a fixed salvage car in s.c. knowing it was salvage we have bought 2 cars prior to mine from the same guy work great no problems. moved to new york suddenly having a hard time trying to register it. my thing is all the paper work wants part number and reciepts for repaired parts i nor the dealer have this info i bought the car 6 years ago. i have pictures of the damage nothing too serious was done to the car. i just wanna know if there is any way i can get the people to give me a title for my car without having the reciepts and part number for the stuff.
