Ok so I just bought the Loreal Preference hair dye in 2.1 Onyx Sheen Base:Blue to get really black hair with a blue tint that will really stand out. I know I'm supposed to mix it with a developer and the lady at the store said to get the Salon Care formula 10 or 20 . I bought the 20 and but I want to know what the difference is between the 10, 20 and even the 30 and 40 I saw at the store...what will make my hair appear more blue? I asked the lady but she said she really didn't know.Another question I have is should the amount of the dye and developer be equal? I have 4 oz bottle of developer so I bought two 2 oz bottles of the hair dye is that correct? Please help...My hair is naturally soft black and I normally dye it jet black if that helps..thanks
