Saline injections for scars: Help!

Hey, guys! I'm new to the board. I was wondering about saline injections for scars. I know a doctor in LA performs the procedure, but I am in Houston and I need to try them from home. For anyone who has seen Dr. Sire and been instructed on the technique, I would love to hear it. Also, any other details you could provide would be hugely appreciated (like needle size, where to buy the needles/saline, frequency of injections, etc.) Plus, I am interested to hear any success stories or criticisms you could share just to give me an idea of what's to come. Thank you so much!
 
I'm a Sire patient and have just begun saline for a rolling facial acne scar. Sire has also treated me for skin cancer using Mohs. I've committed to six (6) treatments, the first of which was received last week. I will keep you posted. Sire is a good doc, but I don't understand why other derms don't use the procedure. Perhaps saline isn't all the profitable. However, each treatment is costing me $112!
