and injustice? I work at a import and wholesale company as a sales person. today, my manager had me calling a freight company to pick up some show case for a convention show soon to be held. as unprepared as we are, I was told to pack and warp all 18 pieces of the show case, and bring it down from the top of the pallet racks. out of the whole company there are 3 sales persons, 3 warehouse personnels, plus my manager thats a total of 7 people, and I was the only person made to deal with the freight issue. everything totaled about 450lbs and I personally shrink wrapped, zip tide and boxed all the trade show equipment all by myself. come to think of it, I felt kind of "discriminated" and pick on just because I am easy going and muscularly built, thus I am suppose to do these kind of physical labor. should I be paid for the physical work I had done? and how do I get the most out of it? is there a law on this?
