Salary for Mutual Fund Sales Rep (not Financial Planners)?

I've been told by a reliable source that Mutual Fund Sales Reps can make 100k to 800k selling funds to Financial Planners.
Can anyone confirm this ?

P.S. I'm not talking about CFP Financial Planners.
 
Jobs that are commission based typically incentify you to to generate the most possible revenue from your activity. So you are largely in charge of your income. Sales reps are generally commission based.

So depending on how your comp plan works, it's entirely possible that you could make $800K/yr. If you do a quick google search you will probably find that the average salary is closer to $100K or lower.
