I am deciding between these branches and ruled out the AF and Marines. I am leaning towards the navy but feel uncomfortable considering that males outnumber females so heavily in the navy especially on the ships. I am worried about this because I read about alarming numbers of women in the armed forces that have been sexually abused during their service http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/421/index.html. I read some of the pros and cons about all the branches but I would like to know more about female officer life in the navy specifically in officer administrative roles. Though there are more women in the army, women seem very tough and do not think I can handle the same physical measures and I am not into shooting guns which is also why the navy seems more suited for me because I read that the physical aspect in the navy is a bit lower.
