Anyone know? I've seen Passionflower, Hawthorn, Garlic & L-Arginine used. But all have warnings or are untested for long term. I won't use Melatonin, Kava or Valerian as they have potential liver, etc. damage. Thanks.

The September issue of Consumer Reports will rank supplements and herbs, I'm looking forward to what they have to say on the subject.

Stress and anxiety produce a ton of inflammatory hormones. Inflammation and anxiety kinda feed off each other and can make anxiety worse, not to mention what chronic low grade inflammation can do to your health. Your doc can test your inflammation levels with a common screening test called "high-sensitivity C-reactive protein" or HS-CRP. Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids can help lower inflammation, as do ginger, turmeric and extra virgin olive oil.

(CR will also list the 12 most dangerous: "aconite, bitter orange, chaparral, colloidal silver, coltsfoot, country mallow, germanium. greater celandine, kava, lobelia, and yohimbe")

The latest aarp magazine list lemon balm for anxiety, you can probably go to your health food store to find hout how to use it. I believe there is a tea form of this.

Thanks to you all. I will try the B vitamins. I take a multi, eat great, & am a healthnut yet I have a Type A & this wears me down. I had a CRP & it was perfectly low (but I'm not aware of, if it was High Sensitive or not).

Other than this, I hate awaking w/ this anxiety/maybe depression cascade, so I'm going to find help quick. Thanks again.
