safemode OFF in my php.ini?

Hello, I try to make a webshop with Zen, but they say I have to set my safemode on OFF in my php.ini. How can I do this. I looked, but I can't find the file php.ini.
Can anyone help my with telling me how I can put the safemode OFF.
