Safe way to gain weight for the army.?

Ok, i'm currently 5ft 5 inches and i weight 105. To enlist into the army i need to be about 117 pounds minimum. What is a safe way for me to gain the weight, since working out would increase my muscles, is that a way to gain it? Thanks a lot!
 
LIFT
*protein protein protein*
LIFT MORE
*more protein (meat, shakes, whatever)
Then when you run, do more power oriented stuff (stairs, sprints, et cetera)
 
When I joined I only had to gain 2 pounds, but in Basic since we hardly had a chance to eat anything, I really thought I was losing weight, but after them smoking us all the time and PT and eating tons of chicken, I gained 10 pounds of muscle while in basic. So if you work out a lot and eat tons of protein, I think you will gain weight safe and easy.
 
Go to the supplement store and buy AMINO ACIDS (the building blocks of protein).

Do a lot of heavy working out (high weight, low repetition) to build muscle mass.
