s710 AT&T/Cingular fiasco

So, I went ahead and did it. I am a formerly AT&T customer who bought a s710a and had it unlocked. It'a SMS'ing calling and receiving all nice and fine. I have a functioning phone. However my WAP/mMode/MEdia Net functioning is nil. I did the online installation hing at www.sonyericsson.com and it worked kind of for a moment. I was wondering if anyone here knew what settings I needed to go though to register this phone with the HTTP/WAP networks that go with my AT&T service or where I could read up about it more. I can't get any new games or applications to function or do my Instant messaging, all reasons I spent $$$ on this device. I have been messing about with the settings to no avail. Thanks very much.

I've got the same problem. I have/had Audiovox SMT 5600 (AWS). It locked up on me. So, I sent it back to UT Starcom for them to fix. They told me it would take about 3 weeks. So, I bought an unlocked S710a off ebay. The phone works good but I can't get the internet to work. I called Cingular tech support and he gave me the settings but Cingular tech support couldn't get it to work and had no other answers. Also in my opinion the Autiovox SMT 5600 is a much better phone if it just would keep working.
 
i had problems connecting on my s710a when i first bought it off ebay. after messing with the internet features time and time again, i noticed my txt messages would send just fine, so i set my internet to use the same connection profile as my txt messages, and it seemed to work for me. hope that is any help :-/
