s60 mobile version of Video Manager?

Video Manager is a great native app if you don't want to use Super or Mobiola or whatever to convert and copy your vids from PC to Phone. But where is the mobile version that will convert my downloaded podcasts and "ipod" movies that are too high res to play natively?

It seems like such a drag to have the file on my phone, have to copy to a PC, convert and copy back to phone... it's already on my phone, can't someone make an app that converts it right there and then deletes the old file?

For the videos, its a small issue, but its definitely time for true OTA podcasts, and most podcasts aren't worth the bother if you have to sync them from a PC. I'd just watch it on my PC if I was interested in it instead of wanking around with copying it over to a tiny mobile.

And I keep all my RSS feeds somehow text/news related, and just scroll down from my logged in google home page to Reader to retrieve them, no time to filter through RSS vids when I can barely keep up with the feeds I already have.

Video conversion is very processor intensive. The N95's 333 mhz processor could take hours to resize a 5 minute video clip while a modern computer could probably do it in faster than real time. I dont think anyone will bother to write such an application.

The N96 is supposed to be able to handle hi res videos. But it could be 8 months or more for a US version to come out.
