I have a question real quick, what are the "I have to have it" reasons that separate the 7290 and the 8700g?

Rcbjr, thanks! Since I am new to the wide world of BB, I got a 7290 from TMobile. It seems a bit simple but thats how I should start off I think! Just got the unlimited data and email so far. Looking forward learning!

Jim, I started with a 7290 also, but when the 8700 came out, I "had to have" it. Used it for a year, loved it and was going to wait for the 8800 to come out. Just bought the pearl, because I couldn't answer any of the questions about it, and also wanted to try out the sure type.

The 7290 is my first blackberry and it has been great! I just can't wait to try out the pearl. Is it that much of a difference between the two?
