Hello to all , it has been a while now since I last posted a new thread and I have been seeing lots of doctors to help me with my back troubles..
I will be having a spinal cord stimulator trial performed on August 20th by my PM doctor for FAILED BACK SYNDROME.. My last surgery was a 2 level fusion in 2008 , L4/5 AND L5/S1.. I'm still in a great deal of pain , my doctor wants me to have the trial before I rush into another surgery..
I f this S.C.S trial does not work , I will most likely need more surgery !! If any one has any comments about the S.C.S please feel free to give your 2 cents , I am looking for the PROS and CONS on this S.C.S.. I have heard that the S.C.S is more for leg pain and not that popular for back pain , I am experiencing roughly about 75% back pain & 25% leg pain.. All my back pain is in my lower back "LUrabAR REGION" and radiating down the right side of my butt cheek and down my right leg and foot.. My pain is getting worse by the day , and I am willing to be patient and find a manageable solution for my aching back pain..
I hope all my frienRAB out there are doing well , and you all no how you are ; Sorry that I have not been on this computer that much - it hurts my back BIG TIME while I'm on here typing away and it's mental torture looking at all the feedback about this spinal cord stimulator.. I really don't no if it's going to be right for me (don't love the whole concept) , but I'm willing to give it a shot and hope for the best..
