Ryan Moat and his wife ignored all types of danger while they flashed through a red

light and disobeyed law.? The Mother-in-Law died, in just a short time. If Ryan and his wife were in such a life or death situation, why didn't they call for a Police escort ?? Do you think the Police Officer was doing his duty? Do you defend the Officer in how he was doing his job ?
To monmichk--- If my Mother was dying in the middle of the night and only had a few moments to live, I would have been at her bedside. Poor planning and you can't tell me that they didn't know about the short time she had left. And you doing 80 miles an hour down the highway is an example of how you think breaking the Speed zone law if cute. Well pedal to the medal, next time you won't get off so easy. This Police Officer was doing his job and now instead of Moat being punished the Officer is being punished. This is not right. I can tell you have no respect for the Law.
 
What would you have done if you mom was dying in the middle of the night? You mean to tell me that you would be worrying about red lights in the middle of the night if a loved one of yours was dying? He's certainly better than me because I wouldn't have stopped. That cop was being an a$$hole.

I remember in high school, I had missed the bus and it was our homecoming game, big game too, Carter -vs- Desoto. I was not about to miss my senior year homecoming so I jumped in my car and flew down I-45 to the Cotton Bowl. I had to be going about 80 and that's when I noticed a copper with one of those speed guns pointed dead at me. He pulled it down, made a little half turn like he was coming after me but he turned back to look at me and I guess he saw my sparkly uniform and pompoms on the dash because he let me go. Now if this cop can be that nice to me for a football game, surely that other cop could have had a little compassion, too.
 
I suggest the police officer showed an alarming lack of compassion and common sense.
