Several years ago I was treated for Gerd-like symptoms with ACIPHEX. It was excellent.
Now being treated again, but I have a form of Medicare and Aciphex is no longer included. The only listing I can find that IS included is pantoprazole and it is considered a Tier 2 (meaning at least $114/3 mo for prescription).
Gastroenterologist said its ok for me to continue taking generic Prilosec (omerprazole), but I dont think its working good enough. I AM seeing the doctor for an endoscopy (ugh - but I will be sedated) on Tuesday -- meanwhile I'd like to know if you know of any other alternatives to Aciphex.
