I have a road bike and only have had it for two weeks, I ride to work everyday so when I went to buy the bike i told them that it needs to be reliable. I have had a few problems with the gears already which they keep having to sort out for me, but when I showed them the bolts they just said it was normal, I got a second opinion at a another shop up the road and he said the same but could put titanium bolts in, it seems wierd that there not stainless steal bolts. Is this normal for aus cyclists? I had a carrera bike in the uk and I gave it to my dad now, its nine years old and not one bolt is rusty and never had gear problems.
