Running More than 4 Receivers

I currently have three receivers [including the 9200 which is using two feeds from the DPP44]. What are my options for getting and extra receiver or two added to my setup? I have all four feeds from my dish running into the DP44. Can people make some recommendations.
 
if your using the DPP44 then you just need to add a separator to the dual receiver which will allow one line from the switch.
 
Split each line, before the SW44, by using 2ghz 2 port Power Passing splitters. This will give you 4 lines each of 82 & 91 degrees.

Then connect 1 output from each to your existing SW44 and the remaining output from each to a second SW44.

This is the "official" way Express Vu tell you to do it.

Since dishes are often included free in a package (or can be acquired at next to nothing), although it may not meet your desires, it is also possible to simply run another dish. On its own it will support 2 standard receivers with no switches required unless you want dual sats, in which case SW21's are cheap.

It should be included in the list of possible "options" available to you although you may choose one of the others.

Seems silly that the only thing you cannot buy from Express Vu is the Dish.....

The reason is just as bizarre, it is to curb piracy.....lol

You can get them cheap with lnb off ebay.

Bell like subber's to leave their old dish when they move so the new occupants only have to hook up a fta, ready to steal.:(
 
Honest subscribers can't. Anyone else can buy any dish they want off eBay... What's wrong with this picture?

p.s. Not that I'd want an EV 20" pizza pan, overpriced at any amount over $0 and unsuitable for many regions in Canada.
 
I think BEV logic is if you leave the dish up the new people coming into the house have a better choice of getting TV, they already have the dish all they need now is go to bell world get a receiver hook it up, makes it easier for new customers if they do not want Rogers , I am sure some will use it for "illegal" purposes also,
The logic of not selling dishes only receivers puzzles me though, some people prefer dual dishes for smaller cable runs, if BEV does not sale dishes to curb piracy then its stupid because anyone can go to a local vendor and get a dish, BEV is losing out on some revenue here, might not be much but it is money.

I got lucky a few years back. A local installation company was only getting the 3120 package from EV for their installs. Since most were dual receiver setups with 2 3100s they only needed the one dish so had 4-5 extra dishes a week avaialable for $20 each. I picked up 4 as spares. All I really wanted was the LNB but the extra pans have been put to use for the most part too over the years.
 
that's not entirely true. all you need is a good story and they'll sell you a dish.

still cheaper to buy on ebay tho, bell still charges $99
