Runescape chat isn't working?

Everytime I type something in the chat line and press enter, nothing shows up. Its not like entering or something, but it's not just my character, because I can't see ANYONE else's chatting either. I tried doing simply "Quickchat" but that didn't work.. so what's up with it? Is anyone else having the same problem? How can I fix it?
 
Runescape screws up all the time so just play something better like world of warcraft where there aren't all these bug, glitches, and bad quality. Mabye its the fps of the game for yours. But i haven't played in a while after i bought WoW Wrath of the Lich King
