So basketball is my main sport but now that the season is over I joined track. I was wondering which would be a better conditioning for basketball, running distance or sprints. In middle school I did the 100 but that was before basketball conditioning and now I'm a lot more in shape. I also want to do feild events, definatly long jump and I was considering doing shot put.
So back to the question, should I run the 800m for distance or sprint the 100m or 200m?
