I went to see Rumour Has It, with Jennifer Aniston today.

All throughout the film, the overhead microphone thing kept popping in and out of the top of the screen. It was REALLY obvious and everyone was laughing at it.
Surely it cant have been unnoticed by the editors, but I'm sure it was on the film, and not something on the screen

This usually happens with widescreen films that have not been shot anamorphically. The top and bottom of the frame should have been masked to give the correct aspect ratio, also masking out the microphones.
