Rumors and school and Drama. Help?

There have been rumors about me going around the Highschool, and I don't know what to do about them. They aren't very nice. Then again, what rumors are nice? Everyone in the upperclass is gonna think I'm a whore, while I just sit here and take it? What do I do? And don't say fight. Because fighting doesn't solve anything.
