Seags, Iam really urging you to look at the long term side effects of accuttane.if you read the small print arthritus is a major side effect.I took accuttane in my twentys and now in my 40s am suffering with debilatating arthritus and other associated conditions. I dont no how bad your acne is if its cystic Id say go ahead,they put me on it twice and my skin still did not clear up. because they were treating me for acne when all the while i had something called roseacia,but if your head strong like i was you"ll probably take it any way,heres the side effects i recall,extremly dry skin lips peeling i felt like s--t,I know acne is very painful but please dont consider this medication unless you are deformed by acne.I would not wish this artritus on any body,for me it was definately not worth it.I think you can drink with it .sorry to rain on your parade. good luck and please think twice.
