T thebax2006 New member Feb 14, 2010 #2 Minimum rpm I'd shift at is 2,500 rpm. Maximum rpm I'd shift at would be 5,800 rpm. Downshifting above 3,000 rpm will wear the syncro rings in the transmission out and cause gears to grind.
