I am applying to the Royal Navy as Aircrew Officer Pilot. I am aware that history of asthma would be a bar to entry, but thankfully have never suffered. The medical form however, asks about family history (both my brother and father have/had asthma). would this be a detail best left omitted, as i have read is the case with hay-fever, or will it not hinder my chances? cheers, Jim.
