Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a ROYAL ENFIELD - Lightning bike in 3rd hand. One guy is having a 1999 year model Lightning 535 CC (indian version). He is in dubai and so not using his bike in india and so ready to sell it. He's offering it for Rs.25,000 (INR). I am guessing that i need to spend some money on batteries, and also for servicing, as the bike is not touched for some time. Do you think its worth spending this much for a 10 yrs old bike. Do you think I should negotiate on the cost?
I know Royal Enfield bikes are legends and so i'm ready to spend it. But just wanted to know the reviews of a user. Also please let me know, if i buy it, whether getting spare parts for the same is tough now? Especially can i get spare parts for this 1999 model in Bangalore/Chennai Royal Enfield showrooms? what are the possible problems you could see in buying this 10 yrs old Lightning.
Request you to let me know these details when you are free. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Regards
