i just got a new computer for christmas and its really fast. i got a wireless card yesterday that is suppose to be the best one in best buy, and my wireless card connects to my dad's router which is located with his computer int the garage. i turned off his computer and now my computer is playing videos (such as on yotube) really slow,
my question is, if i turn off my dad's computer should that make my internet speed any slower?
and some internet searches are a bit slower too
