round red rash on inside of elbows

I have a round, red rash on the inside of both elbows. I noticed it when I got out of the shower today. On my right side, it is about the size of a half-dollar. On my left side the area is smaller and has less shape. Also, there are raised bumps throughout. It doesn't itch, and it's not anywhere else on my body. It's not scaly or dry -- it feels like the rest of my skin. I haven't changed detergents or soaps lately, and I'm not really eating anything different. I spent a lot of time cleaning yesterday, but I didn't use anything than I usually do. We have had nice weather here lately, so the only thing I really have been doing differently is spending more time outside -- walking the dog, working in the yard, etc, so I have been sweating more than usual. Any ideas what this could be? Is there anything over-the-counter I could try on it? I put some Campho-Phenique (sp?) on it and I think it has helped a little, but I'm not really sure.

Edited to add: Now it itches. I washed off the Campho-Phenique and it still itches.
