i had the fuel injectors cleaned yesterday. he hooked up the cleaner to the fuel injector assembly. it quieted down but it still is intermittently rough.
I had the fuel filter replaced previously and he had to cut the line and install a patch line because there was so much rust. I thought there might be air getting in through that way but i was told that gas would be coming out/ not air getting sucked in.
my cousin tried to tell me it was the timing chain but i dont know about that. Another person told me they had a 3.1 L and had to replace the intake manifold assembly.
where else might air be getting in or not mixing right and what else could be wrong?
Or should I just wait till it breaks down to get it fixed because I think 80 dollars and hour at a shop is crazy
