Hi, i am travelling from auckland to rotorua and wish to check out taupo as well. due to the high drop off charge for car rental, i am planning to take a bus from auckland to rotorua(drop my luggage at hotel) and then take another return bus from rotorua to taupo. Please suggest if this is feasible. Also, want to know since i wont have a car in taupo how do i go about visiting places like ‘Hidden Valley’ of Orakei Korako, huka falls and Craters of the Moon in toupa? is it walkable? tks much
