Any word on Rossi coming to the Duc side for Moto GP? Ive hear grumblings around the water cooler about it, wasnt sure if anyone had any solid intel on it.
 
Last I heard was he was under contract with Yami til 2011 and who knows if he'll even be racing after next year. These young pups are crawling all up his ass! lol I don't think he can hold off Stoner and Lorenzo another year!
 
Rossi denys all rumors connecting him to Ducati. Although, many have conjured up why he will eventually end up there. Ducati News Today did a pretty decent write up about it. Part I and Part II. Then the always entertaining eye-witness accounts. But the pestering part. But now that Suppo is gone Next year's silly season will be interesting. Rossi has openly stated he doesn't like having competition for a teammate. So him staying with Yamaha seems odd with Lorenzo and now Spies (provided he doesn't tank like the other WSBK champs). But then what would Ducati do about Stoner? Does Stoner leave Ducati because of a fallout between him and Marlboro for the 3 race absence? I hear Honda might be able to free up resources now that Suppo works for them...Stoner might be lured away with cash. That could leave a spot open at Ducati with Hayden as a teammate. Rossi and Hayden have teamed before. I can't wait for next year's silly season.
 
Remember the last time Rossi and Hayden were team mates? Remember what happened to Hayden after Rossi left? Hayden eventually won the crown. Hayden MotoGP champ in 2013? 2014?
 
Looks like they are already making a nest for Rossi for 2011 over at Ducati.....I think he will make the change considering the changes Ducati is making....like getting rid of Suppo, wich Rossi doesn't get along with and putting someone in that Rossi is friends with....leaves a spot at Yamaha factory team open for someone like Spies.
