I am looking at Rooting the HTC Desire 2.2 Froyo due to the fact that the phone memory is running low due to some app being locked and not allowing copying over to SD card. I just wanted some help from anybody that has a wider knowledge than I do.
If I root the Desire Froyo will I still be able to up date to the Gingerbread software when its officially released by HTC and also can this process of rooting be undone??
Really I am looking for a custom ROM of the Froyo or Gingerbread that will allow most of the software to run on the SD card or if this is not possible, Apps that i do have/download be allowed to move to SD card.
After rooting the phone do you still have to pay for the apps that are on the Android Market? Is rooting worth really worth it ?
