Rooted my Htc evo with froyo 2.2?

I rooted my phone. But now i'm lost why should i be happy again? About a rooted phone i have no clue of what to do with it now.Sofar just happy about battery. What else should i be happy about or check out.
How do i uninstall sprint programs.
