Ok, so I have a Samsung epic 4g, which I rooted. My dad's dog jumped up on me and knocked it out of my hand onto the ground and the screen cracked below the surface. The screen just stays black now but you can see the lights on the bottom where the "buttons" are. Since I have insurance, sprint ordered me a new phone free of charge, which gets here tomorrow or early next week. Until then I'm stuck using my old Samsung moment :-/
I know usually for a rooted phone it voids the warranty on it, but since the screen is broken, I can't unroot it. Will they be able to tell? The sales guy said they will take my broken phone and use it for parts (usually just the motherboard).
