...skylights which will cost me $3100? I live in a condo that has four condos together. Not one of the roofs leak and the Association President along with the Management employee want to change the roof and take the old roof off that was put on in 1987. They also want to replace the skylights that I have 7 of for a total of $3100 which I have to pay for because they are saying skylights are windows and I am responsible for windows and doors. The sad part for me is that we found out two weeks ago and 2 months ago I purchased a home as I want to enjoy life and I can't do it here. The mgm. co. wrote to us to remove all breakables because the roofer is not responsible. Is that even legal and what about insurance.
Should I be responsible for $3100 worth of windows that I will use for 2 months. I had to call the board of health to get grass. This management person & the Pres. of our Association seem to be working for everyone else but the people who live here. Does anyone know anything about this that may help me?
