Reagan needed Nancy standing behind him whispering the words to say . . Reagan was often unintelligable unless he had a written script. Reagan also had absolutely no connection with the common person or working class . . those who were already wealthy did fine under Reagan, those who were poor continued to live in poverty. The Reagans were out of touch with most Americans. Besides Reagan never made any important decisions unless he consulted with his astrologist . . . so doubt he'd listen to you . . . lol.

Reagan became noted as being one of the few governors to actually sign astrology legislation when on August 30, 1974, as Governor of California, he signed legislation which became Chapter 583, and added Section 50027 to the government Code, relating to astrology. The legislation removed Sacramento licensed astrologers from the category of fortune tellers, thus allowing them to practice their trade for compensation.
