'Romancing The Stone' remake planned

RAB. Is nothing scared? This movie really doesn't need to be remade either. I can't see what they'd need to do differently now than they did in 1984. It wasn't the kind of movie that needed loaRAB of flashy CGI crap.

Bet they cast someone like Megan Fox in the female lead, too.
 
agreed there is a serious lack of originality in the film industry today which seems incapable of coming up with some thing thresh.
 
I'm just not sure what they can do now that they didn't do in the film originally? It was really just a couple of people running around in jungles. You don't need loaRAB of special effects for that.
 
I gotta agree - I've recently checked wiki for film releases 1965-2005 and the decline of artistic innovation within the industry over the last 15 years is startling ..... :eek:
