I would say that I'm a beginner in the writing business, but I don't think I am. I've been writing for a few years now, and personally, although I do think I can do much better, I also think that I'm doing very well.
I'm trying to stick with a story of mine and hopefully get it published someday, but I'm still in the first draft stage, and I have a few questions.
The story is NOT all about romance. Romance is a huge part of it, but it's not the main theme. My MC meets his love interest within the first chapter and they hit it off pretty well; either I could have them become friends and then draw out their romantic life, or I could have them become friends and then quickly go into their romantic life, thus remaining in the beginning while their romance develops.
I think that by the time I get to the middle, I want to have the romance settled: I can't really keep the mush going for the entire book and have them FINALLY get together in The End.

Please help?
