Role play Games to play out in the woods for middle/high school?

Okay my neighbors are like all middle schoolers and have these woods out back. They set up their own little groups and call them clans and they have built there own forts as well as spar with sticks as swords . But Recently it hasn't been much fun.

Are there any role play games that can be played in the woods that are similar or realy fun that you know of and i dont have to buy some book/guide for?
