$249 with 3 year contract.

(However, the online purchase doesn't seem to be working as of now.)

And the plans are really expensive if you plan on doing any real web surfing and the like. Thumbs down for me. Never was a Roger's fan. They've always seemed overpriced and more limited in selection to me.

The rogers plan gives you 25mb a month with some minutes and all for $90.00. With a $7.00/mb overage fee. By contrast, my bill is $105.00 with Bell for pretty much the same minutes, free evenings, weekends, but I get UNLIMITED data. Which is good, because I use approx. 180-220mb a month. Plus a get call display for free. You have to pay for it from Rogers.

I definitely do not disagree with you CAPONE.

It's true. Hopefully, Bell will realise that they're cut-throat pricing is unprofitable and will promptly raise those fees back up to where they ought to be: the same as Telus and Rogers.

That's all tongue-in-cheek.

Perhaps the number portability will bring forward real competition in March.
