Rogers, Samsung: D606 vs. D807

Hey Guys, new here, first post you seem pretty knowledgeable.

So here's my problem. I was gonna go and buy a D807 from Rogers over near my place just the other day when I saw the D606 there for like $40 cheaper. I noticed it had a better camera, more internal memory and came with a flash for the camera. Now, I know it wasn't as "cool" looking as the 807, but for more features at a cheaper price, I couldn't see what's wrong with it to make it cheaper besides the design.

Anyone have a suggestion as to which phone I should buy?

I thought d606 was better looking then the d807!

If you want better/more features, go with the d606.

otherwise its really just which you like being seen holding.

These reviews are extensive and accurate. His findings mirror my own experiences with these units.. I currently own and use the Rogers Samsung d807. Hope this helps.
 
I read those, thanks. They are really in-depth.

So in the end, why did you choose the D807? Those are the kinda answers I'm looking for, I gotta a couple days to read.
 
Why did I choose the d807? Well, I like the form factor for one. It is a fairly classy-looking phone. Truth be told, I like both phones pretty much equally. One difference worth noting is the earpiece volume; I found the d807 to be quieter than the other one.

Overall, I don't think you'll go wrong with either one of these two phones, so it should come down to which you will prefer. Hopefully, you will get a chance to take a look at these phones before making your choice, especially now that they are basically equal in cost from Rogers.

Couple more questions - is the camera really that bad on the 807 compared to the 606? And how long are the video's that you're able to hold on both? I read the 606 is 90 minutes of video time!?
 
I also forgot to add here that another "plus" point for the d807 is the VoiceSignal software. It is an excellent voice dialing feature which I use extensively with my bluetooth headset. It can dial a number I say or use any of my contacts on the phone. The d606/600 has no voicedialing capablility at all. This is a major plus for me why I prefer the d807 over the d606/600.

EDIT: Well .. after reading I hear it's not as great as I seem to think it is, lots of flaws, maybe I will get the 606 .. it's gonna be a last second decision. LOL.
