so now the estimate is that the well is leaking 35,000 - 60,000 barrels a day -- instead of the bullshit 20,000 -40,000 they estimated last week - which was already raised from the initial estimate i think

i bet next week they'll revise estimates again

You haven't heard? The oil leak has been solved. BP put a wedding ring on the leak and it stopped putting out.
 
also i'm surprised that oil isn't at $100/bbl now. let this have been a year ago and it might have been close to $200/bbl. it's so pathetic how politics in general come into play with the price of oil/gas. drives me nuts.

at the hearing this week, they said that bp alone has made over 284 BILLION in profits in the last 3 years. yeah, 284 BILLION.
 
The people who actually care about this are very few - most of them seem to just care about how they can use this to gain political or economic advantage - it makes me sick.
